The beginnings of Francis L.Rhod’s career in hairdressing saw him working at both Alexandre de Paris and on the business development of a franchise. In 1982, at the age of 25, he opened his first salon, and today manages three hairdressing companies, one of which is set at the heart of Paris’16th arrondissement.

Affiliated with Haute Coiffure Française since 1998, Francis L.Rhod was voted onto the Executive Board soon afterwards, before becoming President of Soleil International.

Displaying a multitude of talents right from his training period, he took part in hairstyling shows and directed L’Oréal’s first hairstyling presentations in a nightclub.
He has also styled the hair of models at fashion shows and has built up studio hairdressing experience with magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire and Madame Figaro.

As a hairdressing ambassador for L’Oréal Professionnel, he travelled the world from 1995 to 2007.

He has been producing hairstyling collections and press kits for over ten years now.
In his 2009-2010 autumn/winter collection, Francis L.Rhod styled the hair of Marie-Ange Casta.
In December 2009, he was voted World President of Haute Coiffure Française.
